The oak frame is finely carved with detailed roses and sinuous lines and legs. The carved top rail wraps around into the wing section with a carved flower at the rounded corner. The skirt is detailed with a central carved floral reserve. The bergere is newly upholstered in a gray-blue fine English men's wool suiting back brings the feminine curves of the Louis XV aesthetic to a strong masculine presence.
