English Regency Caned Library Bergere
This is a classic example of a caned Regency Library Bergere. This chair dates to the early 19th century and retains all of its original elements. We have cleaned and polished the original ebonized surface with minor touchups to the wood frame. There is a small area of professional restoration to the cane at the bottom of the left side which is nearly invisible. The original casters are present. The chair is very tight and without any obvious signs of prior restoration. We have chosen to offer the chair without upholstery. We will make the older custom cushions available to the buyer. The chair is very competitively priced and is ready for its next two hundred years of life.
