English Regency Table. **** SOLD ****

$1,150.00

This is a very good example of a small Regency Center Table or Games Table that dates to the early 19th century. The table features a square pedestal highlighted by inlaid acanthus leaves and line inlay. It has four out swept legs with ebony heads and beaded legs terminating in fine brass toe caps. The table is in overall very good condition; at some point in the past it was french polished. The table was originally a tilt table; the top is now fixed to the pedestal. Additionally, the top may be married to the based; in that event the top and the base are a perfect match. The price point of the table is reflective of the restoration of the table. The graphic design of this table makes it an eye-catcher. The table would work well as a side table or even as a bed side table, in addition to being a great small center or games table.
