Pair Small Victorian Brass Beehive & Diamond Candlesticks
This is a pair of iconic small English Victorian Beehive & Diamond Candlesticks that dates to c. 1880 - 1890. This is an unusual pair of Beehive and Diamond candlesticks which are quite small and delicate and have been nickel plated allowing the owner to escape polishing them. English brass candlesticks were both utilitarian and decorative being necessary objects in every home from the wealthiest to the most humble. We have several additional pairs of Beehive & Diamond candlesticks listed separately. We recommend "Simichrome" or similar polish. If dusted frequently brass requires minimal polishing to maintain its lush brilliant warm surface.
