Louis XVI Style Small Settee
This is a charming small Louis XVI-Style settee. The settee dates to the late 19th/early 20th century and is beautifully hand carved, retaining its old patinated gilt surface with its gesso peaking through in spots. The very high-end silk upholstery is showing its age with wear to the down-filled seat cushion and front of seat. The settee, in its present condition, speaks to an Haute Boheme previous life which I think is still gorgeously relevant today.
