Chinese Antique Storage Jars, 19th c.

$1,500.00

These are impressive black glazed Chinese Late Qing Stoneware Storage Jars that would be at home in an Axel Vervoordt-style designed space. Both Jars are hand thrown with a thick black drip glaze and are in overall very good original condition with anticipated and desirable natural patination. One jar is a bit older but both date to the 19th century. These jars are highly decorative and could be placed either on the table as shown in the last photo or a plinth or as a grouping with other large vessels on the floor. Don't forget--every room needs a bit of black.
