Pair Louis XVI Fauteuils, c. 1780
This is a great pair of period petit Louis XVI gray painted Fauteuils or chauffeuses. Both chairs are in overall very good condition and retain their original painted surface with some refreshing. The chairs have been newly upholstered in the perfect shade of French blue/green/gray mohair; are very sturdy and ready for their next 100 years of use.
