Antique Wicker Chaise Longue or Daybed

$1,875.00

It is quite unusual to find an early 20th century wicker chaise longue in the nearly pristine as this one was found--fresh from a Beverly Hills Estate. This chaise embodies the current Coastal Design aesthetic. There is some minor rubbing to the wicker and a few paint losses plus a couple of paint drips, but overall, the chaise is in wonderful sturdy condition and ready for another 100 years of use. We have elected to leave it in a lightly patinated state, rather than repaint it, as this maintains the character of the chaise. The red ticking upholstery remains in good condition, with a couple of very minor spots. This piece would work equally well placed indoors or out on a covered terrace or veranda.
